Meet Lucy - The Smallest Working Dog In The World

A three year old Yorkshire Terrier from New Jersey in the US has been named the smallest working dog in the world.

Lucy weighs just 2 and a half pounds, and is 5.7 Inches tall.

Lucy is a very hard working dog, as a therapy dog for volunteer group Leashes of Love.

Lucy travels around hospitals and nursing homes in her local area visiting elderly and disabled residents, which earned her a place in the Guinness world records.

Lucy’s owner Sally Leone Montufar isn’t convinced that Lucy is the smallest dog but admits she is probably the smallest therapy dog.

She also described the moment she found her pet, explaining a woman came into the boutique where she works to see if anyone wanted a dog before they were taken to a shelter.

Lucy was hiding away in a handbag and Ms Montufar claimed it was love at first sight.

How do we know that's not just a giant certificate in the photo?
