Research shows we love our pets, despite the damage!

The same research also showed that 20% of pet owners would describe the damage as ‘significant’.  This is of particular concern as not all major insurers will cover accidental damage attributed to a house pet.

However, The Association of British Insurers has said that a petition aimed at addressing this issue may create enough publicity to urge insurers to change their stance.

Despite the costly nature of owning a pet, further research, cited by Co-operative Pet Insurance, has shown that as a nation we still care deeply for our animals.

The information suggests that over a quarter of people believe that a pet dying could be as emotionally difficult as coping with the death of a family member, whilst over a third believed that the death of pet felt much like the death of a friend.

Man’s best friend may be wallet’s worst enemy, but UK pet owners certainly don’t mind.

This is true we all love our pets despite the damage and heartache they cause us. I do think that all major insurers should cover the damage.
